Pairing of the Week

We've got a fantastic pairing to help celebrate the beginning of spring. This week we're highlighting a bright, flavorful Gewurtztraminer from Monterey County, CA and a delectable triple cream from Point Reyes Station, CA.

Our cheese of the week is Mt. Tam from Cowgirl Creamery. The organic milk from the Straus family gives this cheese a subtle yet complex flavor. This signature, award-winning cheese has flavors of button mushrooms, butter and straw. A staff and customer favorite.

We would also like give a big "YeeHaw!" and "Congratulations!" to cowgirls Sue and Peggy on their induction into the Guilde des Fromagers this past February at the Salon du Fromage in Paris.

For wine our new wine buyer, Jamie suggests the 2008 Banyan Gewurtztraminer. Father and son, Somchai and Kenny Likitprakong only buy grapes from sustainable or organic vineyards. Fresh fruit aromas of peach and apricot make this off-dry white a perfect sipper to brighten your day and your palate!
